Claude Code Can Now Build an Entire Video From One Sentence
Connect Compledio over MCP and Claude Code stops being just a coding agent. Describe the video you want, an explainer, an ad, a podcast cut, and it produces the whole thing without you leaving the terminal.
Claude Code is the agent you already trust to run real work from a single line of text. Connect it to Compledio over MCP and that instinct extends to video: you describe what you want, and it produces the whole thing, upload, transcribe, find the moments, generate the B-roll, assemble the cut, without leaving the terminal.

Setup, then one line
claude mcp add --transport http compledio https://mcp.compledio.com/api/mcp
Run /mcp, sign in once in the browser, done. No API key in a config file, and it bills to your existing Compledio credits. Then:
> turn ./episode-42.mp3 into a video with B-roll and give me the link
It creates the project, uploads, runs the pipeline, and hands you the link while you keep working.
Why it lands for developers
You already produce content as a byproduct of shipping. Now Claude Code turns that exhaust into video: release notes into a launch explainer, a docs or API walkthrough from the same notes you'd paste into a wiki, a technical post into a companion video. These are clips you'd never sit down and edit by hand.
And because Claude Code runs non-interactively, the same tools work inside a script or repo task, generate a short video as the last step after a release, not just in a live chat. Single assets work too via the Studio tools: generate a 16:9 cinematic shot of a foggy mountain road at dawn.
Claude Code already closed the gap between describing a task and getting it done, everywhere except video. This is the last piece. More on how MCP makes it work in our MCP guide.
