1. Introduction

Welcome to Compledio ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, services, and AI-powered video editing tools (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

2. Use of Services

You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

3. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Services to generate, upload, or share content that:

Is illegal, threatening, fraudulent, or harassing.
Depicts sexually explicit material (NSFW), nudity, or extreme violence.
Promotes hate speech, discrimination, or incites violence.
Infringes on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others (including deepfakes of real persons without consent).

We reserve the right to ban any user found violating these policies without refund.

4. User Content

Our Services allow you to upload, process, and store video content ("User Content"). You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you upload to Compledio.

By uploading User Content, you grant Compledio a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display the content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Services. We do not claim ownership of your content.

5. Intellectual Property

The Services and their original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Compledio and its licensors.

6. Subscription and Billing

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Due to the high cost of GPU computation required to generate AI video content, we adhere to a strict refund policy:

Subscriptions: We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on new subscriptions, provided that you have used fewer than 3 generation credits. If you have generated more than 3 videos or used more than 3 credits, the subscription is non-refundable.
Credit Packs: One-time purchases of credit packs are non-refundable once any credits from the pack have been used. Unused credit packs may be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
Quality Disputes: We do not issue cash refunds for dissatisfaction with the artistic style or creative output of the AI. AI generation is probabilistic and results may vary.
Technical Failures: If a generation fails due to a technical error on our end (e.g., system crash, black screen), we will refund the credits used for that specific generation to your account balance.

By clicking "Generate" or using your credits, you acknowledge that the service has been performed and you waive any right of withdrawal or "cooling-off" period applicable to digital goods.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. COMPLEDIO MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE OPERATION OF THE SERVICES, OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, OR PRODUCTS INCLUDED THEREIN. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Compledio, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
